High Intensity Workout (HIT) Max Pyramid Protocol 9/16/10

Not sure what best way to record the progress but I think I have some system down as how to record my progress when doing the Max Pyramid HIT. As of now this is how I will record it: (lowest weight-highest weight)/(contractions or “reps”)/(TUL, which I believe is 20 seconds for each contraction/rep)

Pulldown: 125-185/9/3:00
Overhead Press: 95/155/9/3:00
Leg Press: 160-240/9/3:00
Forearm grab: 16-78 L=9/3:00 R=9/3:00
Bicep curl: 45-85/9/3:00
Weighted crunch: 0-45/9/3:00
Tricep extension: 40-60/5/1:40

This is my first time trying the Max Pyramid High Intensity Protocol. I read about it on here: http://www.bodybyscience.net/home.html/?page_id=798. I have to say it was one of the best workouts I’ve done in a long time, possibly ever. Weighted Crunch I think would have been better if done on a machine, last time I tried on a machine though, just couldn’t get it to work properly. Tricep extension has lowest reps/contractions because of doing it last, and was done after I had already done pulldown and overhead press. This workout was done over two days as well, the big three (overhead press, pulldown and leg press) and tricep extension on one day and the other three done four days later. Due to schedule changes at work it will be some time until I can do other exercises but I plan on doing chest press, seated row and standing calf raise.

High Intensity Workout (HIT) 9/13/10

High Intensity Workout (HIT) 9/13/10

Seated Row: 160/1:06
Chest Press: 160/:58
Pulldown: 170/:1:19
Overhead Press: 160/1:09
Leg Press: 260/1:49
Standing Calf Raise: 60 L=11 R=11
Forearm grab: 63 L=11 R= 12
bicep curl: 80/8
weighted crunch: 45/8
Tricep extension 70/8

In this week’s workout which is split up into two days, the first being big five, tricep extension and standing calf raise. The second day being weighted crunch, forearm grab and bicep curl. From last week there was an increase in reps or TULS in all exercises except chest press. I decided to do chest press later, and change up an order, someone commented on a youtube video of mine and said my chest press would go up If I did it after, the exercises that worked the shoulders.

Whether that’s true or complete bullshit I don’t know. I also increased the weight on my exercises for the big five, except leg press and pulldown, next week Im going to increase those as well. I think I will also increase the weight on the forearm grab as well.

All things aside, things at work and other areas of my life are improving as well. I’ve been playing poker and slowly but surely working my way on getting out of my job and quitting it. Im sleeping better and the holosync meditation and binaural beats I listen to every day and night are starting to show big results 

High Intensity Workout (HIT) 9/2/10

High Intensity Workout (HIT) 9/2/10

Seated Row: 155/1:03
Chest Press: 155/1:14
Pulldown: 170/1:09
Overhead Press: 155/:53
Leg Press: 250/1:06
Standing Calf Raise: 60 L=9 R=11
Forearm grab: 60 L= 10 R= 10
bicep curl: 80/5
weighted crunch: 45/6
Tricep extension: 60/5

This workout was done at Firstenburg Center, and as of now im going to keep that as my gym of choice. They don’t have as much equipment as other gyms such as 24 hour or La Fitness, but all their weightlifting and cardio equipment (which I don’t much care for honestly), is Nautilus. I did my isolation exercises and the big five all on one day. I think from now on I will separate the two, except perhaps doing calf raise and tricep extension possibly on same day.

I think I still need some adjustments on my leg press but after reviewing some MAE videos I think I know what I need to do now. The ab machine, to me felt clunky and just wasn’t able to use it right. Seated Row and overhead press the TULs went down, bicep curl went down and abs went down as well. Besides that for the most part I see improvements in all my exercises.

Next week I will be increasing weight on some of my exercises by about 5-10 lbs, I think 3-4 weeks is a good time to increase weight slightly. I might do it 2-3 weeks depending on my progress.

8/25/10 Hit Workout

8/25/10 Hit Workout

Seated Row: 155/1:08
Chest Press: 155/1:03
Pulldown: 170/1:00
Overhead Press: 155/1:06
Leg Press: 250/2:26
Standing Calf Raise: 60 L=9 R=10
Forearm grab: 63 L=10 R= 12
bicep curl: 80/10
weighted crunch: 45/9

This workout actually consisted of two days, the first being 8/25 and second being 8/29. The bulk of the workout, being the big five and standing calf raise was done at firstenburg center. I improved all my TULs, the only problem I think I had was I did the leg press on the other machine. There’s two leg press machines at firstenburg, both are nautilus, but one uses resistance plates and the other you put weight plates on it, like it’s a free weight.

Decided to do the other one, so it might have just been a mess up by me, I feel more comfortable and better form in other one but decided to use this one, this time. I don’t think it matters much what machine, they are both nautilus. I think I need to try to adjust it so I get proper position with my legs too, it feels like im too far away a bit past couple of times and its been a reach to extend my legs all the way out, or maybe its no big deal.

Anyways, my isolation exercises that I did at home, forearm grab, bicep curl and weighted crunch I felt did a lot better. I feel I have a much better foundation or grasp on where Im at with my current weight and where I want to be and a better ability to focus and push myself more every time. Work doesn’t seem to be as stressful though I would prefer to quit it soon. I might try doing all exercises on one day and seeing how I do using machines for some of these. I prefer machines as of now since Its hard for me to go until positive failure without messing up form. Later on I might do more free weight but as of now I feel good with what Im doing.

Due to my work schedule and other things that have kept me busy, this is the longest recovery time I’ve had in quite some time. It was thirteen days.

Getting things straight and priorities

I've been posting and visiting the four hour work week forum more often lately, I dont post often there, ive posted more times in fact on the 21 convention forum and other pua forums. Things seem to be getting a lot better, at least mentally at least, it doesnt seem like im going crazy or as crazy as before, and feel a much better ability to sort things out.

What caused this over the past year or so Id say its a combination of factors, burnout at my job, failure with Amway, and even dealing with a psycho chick, but also to add in there personal responsibility, not opening up more about it, not pushing myself, and even getting used to my diet, which I believe I have figured and worked out, and got the macro nutrients right.

Since I read Timothy Ferriss's book, and even before that I decided that I didn't want to work at my current job forever, and I think that even led to some of my problems over the past year, among some other problems or things ive dealt with in the past. So as of now Im going to focus on being able to quit my job, and make money more or less. Im still involved and interested in the Zeitgeist Movement but I don't see any real or big change happening soon. I've tried a few times to get freelance work but so far I have not landed one paying job, ive had a few offers but nothing beyond that.

Im sure in time I can get one but without experience and a lack of knowledge and skills (beyond writing, editing, etc. which I am no where near an expert), it makes it difficult to get jobs. Ive put up some things on craigslist and my myspace to sell but so far I havent gotten too many offers. I am still going to pursue freelancer work and jobs, and work on selling stuff that I own or have.

But as of now I am going to focus as much as I can on learning no limit Texas Hold Em, I know it might sound crazy, it has a lot to do with being in control of your ego and emotions. Theres an element of luck but there is a lot of science, techniques and ways to win. In fact its similar to pooah or pua, theres forums, groups etc.

I dont see my book or ebook which I have started and am reading books on it, to be done soon or even when I do get it done to necessarily create a muse with it. I think it will but it needs time to grow, I need time to grow, in fact Id like time off to explore some ideas and things on my own. I cant do that until Im able to quit my job.

My job has caused me some misery in the past, but I don't view it so badly, things are getting better, its still not heaven on earth, and Id rather be doing something. I also dont get paid much, and budgeting and saving up, while I do think is wise, I dont buy into the whole work for work, and the life deferment plan, which Timothy Ferriss calls it. I dont work full time but I just plain dont want to either, I could easily work full time, get benefits, and even become a line cook but I want to work there less not more.

I do get three days off and I feel bad in some ways for bitching about my job, but I personally just dont buy into the idea of having a career, set career path, etc. I feel I have a lot more value to offer then in just one field or career, theres lots of things I want to do, and in the future, make money in more then a couple of ways, I dont like to limit myself as much as I do others.

Where Im at currently I do have the time to go out, maybe even possibly every day, but as of now I only go out once or twice a week, and my pua development has been very slow progress id say for about a year. In fact I might have even regressed some but I think I've grown in a lot more ways, especially by doing meditation, listening to binaural beats and getting things straight.

My health and weight are getting a lot better, during this year I've had a lot of crazy stuff thrown my way, like not being able to think clearly, fatigue, bad insomnia and a number of other things, I think some it had to do with not balancing out my diet. I know more now what my protein, carb, fat content is or should be, and I think its helping a lot. Im still not 100 percent but I think as my workouts improve and improve (I seem to have been getting a lot more progress lately, before it was a plateau or slow progress), it will help a lot as well. Some of it might have to do with my job, I know that it probably doesn't help.

I will also be trying to focus more, get priorities straight, get rid of mental clutter or even getting rid of stuff I never use or get things done Ive had on my plate for some time but havent done. Most of it is small so I dont expect it to take too long but I have been getting rid of a lot of stuff in my bedroom, and plan on selling more, and if it comes to it, giving it away. I think how you organize and treat your living space is in some ways a reflection of how you operate, or even how your mind works and mine is currently has a lot of bs and junk in it so im going to get rid of it.

I might also look for some coaching and mentorship but I think that some places that I currently ask for advice will suffice as they have a blend and variety of people with experience and knowledge. Im speaking primarily of the 21 convention forum and four hour work week forum, and possibly other people in my life. I also see myself going to the 21 convention next year, and by that time not ever having to worry about money or even time to do it, which have always been excuses in the past. Time and money I think are just as valuable when it comes to living a life and lifestyle that I desire and want a lot. I dont necessarily want to buy a bunch of material things or goodies, but a few wont hurt, I more want to travel, learn, maybe even teach, coach, mentor, write among so much else later on.

Anyways, thats it, I have a busy week at work so not sure next when Ill post :P.

Hit Workout 8/12/10

Seated Row: 155/1:07
Chest Press: 155/:58
Pulldown: 155/1:35
Overhead Press: 155/1:02
Leg Press: 250/1:13
Standing Calf Raise: 65 L=6 R=8
Forearm grab: 63 L=10 R=10
bicep curl: 100/2
weighted crunch: 70/3

I feel I made improvement in about every exercise, only one that didn’t go up was overhead press, I tried doing my isolation exercises differently or at least some of them and going with lower weights. I tried that since I think I should go for a weight I can do about 9-10, then slowly increasing weight and getting the increased weight I use to higher and higher reps.

I know that only doing a couple of reps is as productive as doing a lot of reps. I did make a big goof on the pulldown and that I did the wrong weight, I was looking at the wrong exercise, so next week I will do 170. I’ve been listening to an binaural beat that deals with exercise, its probably alpha binaural beats for exercise and also listening to Quietude while I work out which puts me into an alpha state and more focused state, both of those combined with my holosync work and some fine tuning on my diet I think is paying off handsomely.

Unfortunately this week ill have to take a few more recovery days since I have one day off, then work two days, one is a 10 hour shift (yay…..), and then have a day off so ill have to do it on my second day off. Good for me though theres a wedding and funeral (well its not good that someone passed away), but there will be lots of food to hold me over so that’s a plus 

Hit Workout 8/7/10

Hit Workout 8/7/10

Seated Row: 155/:55
Chest Press: 155/:58
Pulldown: 170/:55
Overhead Press: 155/1:11
Leg Press: 240/2:01
Standing Calf Raise: 65 L=5 R=6
Forearm grab: L= 2 R= 2
bicep curl: 100/2
weighted crunch: 70/2

This workout is actually split up into two days, the big five exercises plus standing calf raise are performed at the Firstenburg center, then the isolation exercises (forearm grab, bicep curl, weighted crunch) are done on a separate day. Most of my exercises had a marked improvement, except for my isolation exercises, I felt a bit drained and not sure what happened but will do much better next week. Firstenburg center is by far the best gym ive gone to, all the big five exercises they have are nautilus machines. Im also getting better at performing calf raises and doing them correctly and staying balanced.

Review of Unlimited Power By Tony Robbins

I've read a few books on Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) the past but Id say so far this is one of the best I have read. The first couple of NLP books I ever read were way too technical and a bit hard to follow at times. I've even read A dummies guide to NLP and that didnt even give me a full understanding of NLP. It also uses some self development and personal development principles but Anthony Robbins primarily uses NLP as his tools for change and success. It has a very positive message, especially towards the end, and has a lot of practical knowledge. With reading this book, I've been using some of the principles and techniques to work, primarily the swish pattern, I have a much better understanding and knowledge of NLP though I would like to get some training in it in the future. In time Id like to re read it and really put all of it to work, but with future self development books, I think more and more I am going to put it to work more and not just put that information and power on the back burner. If I want change Im just going to change it right then and now and not later. I have another book by Tony Robbins Ill read in the future, but I would highly recommend this book for those looking to improve their persuasion, speaking, communication skills, and for those interested in self development and especially practical application of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

7/14/10 HIT 24 Hour Fitness

Seated Row: 145/:45
Chest Press: 145/:54
Pulldown: 160/:59
Overhead Press: 125/:25
Leg Press: 250/:33
Standing Calf Raise: 135/6
Forearm grab: L= 60/6 R= 60/5
bicep curl: 1
weighted crunch/ab machine: 50/3

Was disappointed about the gym, I haven’t been to a 24 hour fitness but half of the gym was cardio machines, and the weight machines were all second or third rate machines, only one exercise I did was a hammer strength. Didn’t have any Nautilus or Med Ex machines whatsoever. Despite that made some improvements and had a good workout. Also ran into someone I knew at gym too which is cool. Before workout had to go through a guest trial membership setting up deal with one of the trainers there and was trying to sell me personal training or something else. Also told me some things about HIT I don’t necessarily agree with but I was civil, even though I wanted to call BS on him, said machines aren’t necessarily HIT because they don’t use stabilizer muscles, its better to do once you slim down and also it can cause a lot of stress and pain on your joints, body, muscles. The last part is somewhat true, but I know how to do exercises safe and effectively, MAE and BBS for the win 

FR: Two Strip Club Time

So last night I went to two strip clubs, I first went to Exotica, to be honest, the place blew. Was there for about 10-20 mins, the place was pretty cool looking with lots of stages and porn playing on the tv, well softcore porn at least. They had one dancer on one stage, and after one or two dances got off and was giving someone a lap dance, after getting an overly priced water, decided to check out some other places. I texted cha cha about some recommendations and to see what strip clubs are open the latest, bars and clubs are only open to 2:30 am, but i swear I remember hearing about a strip club open until 4 am on KUFO but I could be wrong. Anyways I decide to head out to Cabaret, and when I get there, I remember that I've been there once before, and the time before was when I was with my friend Frank (who sadly passed away :() and with a few people from high school, one of whom was turning 21 and danced on stage and was making out with a stripper.

That night I felt pretty chill and relaxed, though I did get overheated and felt a bit out of it but not as bad as I have in the past. At Cabaret, I talked to a few people and one or two dancers but was mainly talking to the bartender, mainly just fluff stuff, talking about her job or what she did for fun, etc. She seemed pretty friendly but I didnt get much of a sexual rapport or go direct at all, which might have been to my detriment. There was one dancer there whose birthday it was, she wasnt the best looking but seemed like a lot of fun, was going around being spanked and dry humping customers and dancers alike lol.

Near the end of the night I busted out with hey can I get your number to the bartender, she told me she didnt give it out and there was a bit of an awkward pause but then asked If I needed something else. I had a few drinks by now but nothing really, a shot of rum and kahlua mixed with cream. The rest of the night afterwards, which was only for a little bit I was a bit upset, in bad mood and bad state. In fact I was the rest of the night. I walked to my car and didnt get upset to the point of crying but was reflecting some, just on that night and my progress over the years, thinking to myself its now or never and im going to do whatever it takes to realize and get to my full potential and live a life and lifestyle of abundance and happiness no matter what. And to approach any girls I see that I am attracted to or like.

I am a bit confused as to what im going towards, at least game wise, im working on unplugging myself from some my own messed up belief systems and some faulty beliefs ive gotten from the community or just things that have come up from having this information but not using it, or as often as I should. Im going to do at least 5-10 approaches and make the most out of them, be sexual, dominant, alpha, always be closing and take chances. Ive often just been comfortable with my results or with my life but Im making conscious effort to be in control of myself, my emotions and destiny. Im unsure of how to go sexual though or what to say at times so im going to start reviewing some pua material, as well as self help, nlp, socializing, etc. I havent been with too many women, have had few relationships so to really embrace or express my sexuality when its been repressed, by social conditioning or still being laid im going to embrace it full.

Review of 2012: A Time for Change

So on July 8th I went to see 2012: A Time for Change at the living room theaters in portland, which is an incredible theater and very comfy, with nicely cushioned chairs almost like mini couches in the theater. Its based on the book "2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl" by Daniel Pinchbeck, who is also the narrator and main figure in the movie, interviewing such people as Sting, Ellen Page, people involved with the Buckminster Fuller foundation, a co designer of the Euro and economics expert, among many other experts and a few random people off the street. The director and animator for the movie is Joao G. Amorim who is an Emmy nominee. It starts out with an interesting story of the Mayan's origin story of how humankind came to being, with some rather interesting animation as well.

I dont remember all of it but the gods tried making humans out of wood and mud, but neither attempts worked, but then made them out of corn but were too powerful. They were also in touch with nature, but in time the gods felt they gave them too much power and blinded them with a mist, in time they ignored nature, fought amongst each-other, cut down the forests. The movie then starts with some background information on Daniel Pinchbeck, providing some social commentary on his personal life and work, hes a journalist that advocates the use of psychedelic drugs, which the movie goes into some depth about, primarily iboga used by the Bwti tribe in Africa and Ayahuasca. His previous book before his 2012 book was primarily about the use of drugs and how it led to many of his personal and spiritual revelations, even saying that after taking part in a Bwti shaman ritual he severely cut down his alcohol consumption.

Ayahuasca is used by Santo Daime churches, which is a combination or blend of Christianity and spiritualism. Daniel interviews Sting about his use of Ayahuasca after he visited a Santo Daime church in Brazil, of which he said helped him deal with alcoholism. Later on he admitted to be a tree hugger and has done yoga every day for many years. The movie talks and covers a lot of topics covered in the Zeitgeist movies of which I am a big fan and since watching have become an active participant in the Zeitgeist Movement, I went to Z day and joined the local PDX Zeitgeist Group. He interviews Ellen Page about her experiences with aquaculture and says at the time she started doing it and being an activist, it was a good spiritual experience for her, especially since it was around the time her popularity and movie success was skyrocketing. He interviews those involved with permaculture communities and I like how they take a symbiotic approach to use of land, water and resources to grow crops, plants and food, and by mimicking and using the concepts of nature. It also shows clips and interviews with Buckminster Fuller Foundation members, and how he does the same with nature and architecture, and his vision of the future.

Jacque Fresco who is the founder of the venus project and is combined with the Zeitgeist Movement, I know spent some time with Buckminster and is where he got a lot of his ideas from, they showed some inventions he made and they were rather remarkable. They compared the dymaxion car to a car of the time he lived in, and his car got a lot better gas mileage, carrying capacity and higher top speed. He also was able to construct buildings in about 24 hours as opposed to the longer process it takes now to build houses. He also used less living space then people living in his era as well.

He interviewed a chemical engineer, who has a PHD in chemistry and demonstrated how using electrolysis, had created a battery using water for a scooter. Another person he interviewed, was able to clean water in septic tanks and in a greenhouse, with plants and plant matter and within a few days was able to use it for watering and other purposes, not clean enough for drinking water but rather impressive. Daniel interviewed a scientist who is a big believer in the power of mushrooms that grow naturally, who spoke at TED, and demonstrated how mushrooms planted in contaminated soil (whether it be toxic chemicals or oil) and cleaned it up within a few weeks in time lapse photographs.

This movie really inspired me and i liked it a lot, i believe they covered a lot of ground on social issues, environmental issues and even economic issues, when it comes out on dvd id love to buy it and would love to see it again. One of my best parts of the movie was when Daniel Pinchbeck interviewed an economics expert on the economy and said that how the current economy is, it isnt set up to deal with the environmental issues, or current economic issues, and gave an awesome analogy. The analogy he gave was he said that the current economic model or vehicle is if someone were to drive a car with no brakes and a bad steering system, no matter what you do, your going to crash even if you get a new team of experts in the car. He also went into some depth about how if something can't be made a profit off of it, it is not really thought of, especially in our capitalist economy. They even talked briefly about an Oil Tycoon that is buying up water companies and reserves and selling it, for profit, a natural resource that should be available to anyone. I thought the analogy he gave was pretty spot on as Im fed up with how the current economy is, debt system and even how money is literally made out of thin air by the federal reserve. Thats how money is made people! The only other person that can make something out of thin air is God.

This was an awesome movie I would recommend to anyone and to those that say its already too late, or have a negative cynical view, I say sometime sooner or later we will have to deal with it. Like one of the native americans that Daniel also interviewed, I believe a lot of people give over their power or faith to such things as the economy, your job, or even religion, distinctions between good and evil, or that someone will ultimately save us. It may happen or it may not, i dont mean to encroach on commonly held beliefs and opinions, but thats what they are, commonly held beliefs that aren't apparently true, its time to wake up, dont drink the coolaid and think for yourself. Just because your doing okay now and have in the past, theres always something more and better to work towards, dont give your personal power away to such a thing as a job, career, or even life itself I believe. I hope that my book and ebook, if nothing else will wake people up and shake them to the very core of their realities and perceptions. Anyways, go out and see this movie, and tell me what you think, what do you agree or disagree on. I think we have all the tools and resources to figure out all our problems, its just our attention or focus is not on it but on ourselves, materialism or something else.

HIT 7/7/10 Return of the Machines?!

I went to LA Fitness in Beaverton and did this, it seems they had a lot of good quality Nautilus machine, much to my delight. The seated row machine was different and was called mid row. They didnt have one machine that I wanted to do the standing calf raise with, Im not sure what its called, but they have one at the gym at the high school I used to go to and at the LA Fitness in vancouver, I think the only exercise you can do it with is standing calf raise or possibly a squat. I did a mix of machines with TULS (time under load) and MAE exercises with rep count, in total I did 8 exercises.

Seated Row: 135/1:08
Chest Press: 135/:58
Pulldown: 150/:53
Overhead Press: 135/:47
Leg Press: 215/2:02
Standing Calf Raise: L= 60/10 R= 60/10
Forearm grab: L= 60/8 R= 60/9
bicep curl: 90/5
weighted crunch/ab machine: 75/7

At the time I was unable to do bicep curl, because of previous exercises, so I did them today (7/12), I used a dumbbell for one arm on forearm grab, then used a pulley machine to do other arm, it took a lot more weight, so might not be fully accurate. Ive also been doing about 9-10 pushups about once a week and sprinting for added strength gain and skill conditioning, though I dont think its entirely necessary. The Leg Press I could have added more weight, was a bit different since it was a machine where I sat still but pushed the platform away from me with my feet, instead of the leg press machines ive used before that is like im pushing myself back with my feet. My leg muscles I feel always seem to get a good strength gain and in time I think they will be as thick as tree trunks, in fact they are close enough.

Still have some bodyweight id like to get rid of, mainly around my belly and upper body, but feel in time I can burn that off, been very closely following my diet and restricting carbs and taking into consideration my source of calories, not necessarily the amount, though I have been watching that as well.

Powerman 5000 concert?! Direction in life, self development and pua journey

I went to see one of my favorite bands of all time Powerman 5000 on June 3rd, it was the most fun I have had in a long time. This isnt so much of a field report though I did talk to a promo girl for a brief bit. Prior to coming to the concert I decided I was going to make some clothes that I could wear when I go out and also to the concert, not sure whether to call it a success or a failure, since its still a work in progress, ive done one shirt and one pair of pants, and have three more pair of shirts to go and one more pair of pants. Will try to upload pictures of the shirt, but basically what I did was I borrowed something I heard of from the pua training blog, but tried it on some shirts as well.

If you look on the blog at puatraining.com, under the tag fashion, one of the posts mentions how to get a unique looking pair of pants, using fabric paint and ripping the pants up a bit. I tried it with my older pair of pants that Ive worn and used for years from Buckle but basically used white acrylic paint instead and put white handprints on the back pockets and splattered some paint over the front and back of them. I also tried ripping them some more (they already had some rips in them, it was part of the look of the jeans).

I bought another pair from Old Navy to try out the same thing, the ripping doesn't quite look as good as the ones that came with the Buckle pants when I first got them, but with some research or experimenting think I could replicate what would look like some pretty expensive pants. The Old Navy Pair I got are dark blue and faded (just like the pair I bought from Buckle), which in my opinion are the best looking on about any guy, and can get them fairly cheap as well.

For the shirts I just bought two extra large shirts and one large shirt, since I am between those sizes. I used black acrylic paint and painted a PM5K on the front with some stars on back and front, with the skull with fangs wearing a helmet that is featured on the cover of their latest album on front and back. I stenciled them out or did as best I could, and afterwards splattered black paint on front and back as well. The first shirt or two I did were to be honest came out shitty and the paint was bleeding out some as well. The third one I did was best one yet, and even by time of concert I didnt wear the pants because they werent totally dry, and the t shirt was also barely dry enough, I wore a long sleeve shirt underneath my PM5K shirt. It didnt quite come out with look that I was hoping for, and wanted to add some other alterations to the shirts as well (which are still a work in progress), such as making two of the shirts into sleeveless muscle shirts and cutting/scissoring the hem of the shirt collar and the sleeve for a roughed up/punk look. I got the idea actually from what Powerman 5000's video for Wild World here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5JFb4PvbO4

Enough talk about fashion and more onto the concert :) I was planning on meeting up with a chick off of plentyoffish, since I got two tickets for 20 dollars off of one of my boss because he had won them. I decided to go with a neighbor of mine, it was at the Hawthorne theater and we got there a little bit after the concert started. To my dismay though there was some other local, not as big or popular bands performing before powerman 5000, and powerman 5000 was the last band to perform. To be honest the bands before Powerman 5000 werent so great in my opinion. First band performing had a female lead singer and up until Powerman 5000 the crowds didnt get too rowdy or loud. There wasn't a whole lot of women there either. I saw a few here and there, I also got a five dollar powerman 5000 necklace as well from one of the promo booths close to the stage. Before I go on about the concert though, the theater had a cool, fun vibe though, and despite some mental fog and fatigue and other issues ive been having for the past several months I felt pretty good.

There were posters all over the walls, a bar in the corner, promo tables near the stage and in the middle for some reason a checkpoint that I had to keep showing my black light stamp, that showed up only when black light was shown on it. The band before Powerman 5000 were actually the best of the bands before the main event went on, I asked a hot promo girl what the name of the band was, and she gave me a card that said Silver Safe, found out later she was one of the promo girls later on. The singer of the band during his performance came down off stage, walked through the crowd and fist bumped me and later on patted me on the back. After they got done, the band was hanging out at one of the promo tables, signing cds and taking pictures, the band seemed pretty friendly and cool as well. The night was going pretty good so far but out of nowhere I was taken surprise by something. A few months back when things were to be honest getting pretty rough I was working on getting this girl's number that worked at a local mall, but was told she was moving out of town back with her dad to South Carolina. I even tried a last ditch effort to bring some roses/flowers, on V day, but to no avail (and swear to next V day not be another lonely day!). Anyways some time before Powerman 5000 came on here she walked in with some guy, I instantly felt pretty pissed and upset, and jealous to a certain extent, and though im not big on guy bashing or bashing on other people, the guy looked like a damn chode! Took a bit to recover but by time Powerman 5000 came on felt a lot better, I've heard from others that Powerman 5000 gives every concert they do their all and its an experience, so was ready to have lots o fun.

They came on stage dressed up in space suits, or at least the lead singer, a lot of their music has sci fi elements in them, just like how the lead singer's half brother Rob Zombie has a lot of horror elements in his music. The concert was awesome, as soon as they came on stage the whole crowd got really loud, and I got right up near the front of the stage, and got closer and closer as the night went on. Everyone was yelling, screaming and jumping up and down and it was really fucking loud as well (i mean what else would you expect at a rock concert? lol). The guitar players were really into it, energetic, at times let the people in the crowd pluck strings or chords on his guitar, and was playing the guitar while spinning in a circle or jumping up and down. The lead singer was doing crazy shit and expressions as well, and was singing along to all their songs. They played some songs off their latest album, some of my favorite songs and they even played a song I've never heard before ("neckbone" which was pretty cool), that was before their 1999/2000 popularity explosion with their album tonight the stars revolt. There was a moshpit that wasnt too crazy but was bumped into a few times. Some hot chick's boyfriend randomly joined the mess and asked her if her boyfriend abandoned her and she hid behind me and some guy next to me. I wasnt too big on getting hurt or anything, it was just people pushing eachother, bumping into each other and some people were doing some crazy ass dancing (I was too as well :P).

Im really into music, and though I havent told too many people, bands such as Powerman 5000 really move me or make me feel awesome, especially when powerman 5000 puts a lot of raw emotion into their music. I was singing and dancing and jumping up and down during most of their songs, especially when they played "Free" which is one of my all time favorite songs. When they played that song it just really touches a chord in me and its hard to describe, I hope that doesnt sound too homo but im a big fan of music and especially powerman 5000. Ill try to get some videos and pics, the pics didnt quite turn out right, they were all blurry. Half way through their performance they acted like they were going off stage and done but a few minutes later after some cheering and chanting for powerman 5000 (of which I participated), all the band members (except the lead singer) came back on stage with space helmets, with white LEDs on them, they were wearing what the helmets they wear in this music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiHr7qLxOvU

The last song they played "When Worlds Collide" is on of their most popular songs and its also a favorite of mine, I hoped they could have played more songs but I was pretty damn exhausted, as well as soaked with sweat. Before I forget, something kinda odd happened as well, near the end of the concert. Some chick next to me that was with her friends, that was a bit chubby but chesty lol (wasnt too bad looking either really), she stood right next to me with her butt up next to me, so I couldt move, idk if she was like doing some super deluxe pooah move or something or it was because I kept jumping up and down and was landing on her or her friends feet, it was a bit different but oh well.

As the concert ended I had to go past the middle check point thing and since I was well pretty damn dehydrated, I had some trouble understanding her but had to go around because I didnt have a tab or get anything there. Hung out for a bit in the lounge area and got some water and headed home, pretty awesome night I say :)

Anyways this next part is a bit of a rant and some ideas ive had lately, that were maybe going to turned into youtube videos or something else but I've decided lately to turn my website jedi mastery into an e book and then a book. Im not sure of the direction it will take or how long but fuck it im just going to do it. Im also going to save up money and make enough money to make it to the 21 convention. I just found out about an idea that my friend has been using to support his own dream of a Muse, but its time i took action, now or never, because I cant work at the same job or same place all my life. I make minimum wage even though I was promoted, and I know im worth a lot more then that, just like its said in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSYtQy9EqTA&playnext_from=TL&videos=ZMsaDdocYjc I have to go out and get what im worth, and just not been willing to take risks or let circumstances, other people's opinions, excuses, or putting it off for action. I want to have a business, work or job that I can enjoy and spend my free time, doing whatever I want with whomever I want, I have a lot of goals I want to attain and staying in one place, doing the same thing week after week just aint fucking cutting it.

I feel a lot more clarity with all work ive been doing with Quantum K, Holosync, binaural beats and getting better and better at HIT and my diet. Im still not 100 percent or where I used to be, but I never amounted to what I could be in the past, i read Tim Ferriss's book years ago but havent taken some serious steps, as I have with my involvement with the pua community to get true, real success. I mean its time to be free and not care what other people say or do, trying to get approval or validation for being a pua or not knowing which way to go or what to do, only way I can learn is by doing something, anything! I want my life to be something I enjoy every day not something that I begrudge and dont enjoy and like its a chore like my job, ill just turn out negative and cynical like some people I work with. Life is meant to be enjoyed and not be some big ego trip or emotional roller coaster, it isnt always so good, and sometimes you have to deal with some crazy shit, some crazy nasty shit. Anyways listen to these songs, I love these songs! but also feel inspired by them everytime I hear them :D

HIT 5/26/10

Been some time since ive posted a workout, ive been doing them steadily just haven't been reporting them.

Deadlift: 210/5
Bench Press: 190/5
Bicep Curl: 90/5
Standing Calf Raise: 140/19
Weighted Crunch 60/7
forearm grab: 78 l=6 r=6

Have for some time switched from doing calf raise with each leg individually, to using a barbell, since i feel like i reached maximum with dumbbell. Improved rep count of bicep curl by one, besides that same as last week. Im on longest period of time while staying strict to diet, working on better sleep habits, getting better sleep and due to my holosync meditation work is a lot less stressful. Want to get heavier dumbbells for forearm grab (from MAE, not sure what to call it), and calf raise, hard to keep stable using barbell. Also trying to get better with form and technique of bench press. IF possible will try to get video of workout at home.
